Jake Browning counter point. What would it say to top QBs when a elite 11 QB who had been on the team for years gets passed up for a noodle arm freshman because he waychances more film. Not all players aspire to be the punt protector.
honestly I am surprised yankoff and sirmon are committed Jack Browning a little brother is going to walk on in 2 years and take the job -
Do you mean Troy "I started at a juco but can't keep my job at Utah" Williams? or Jeff "I can throw the ball 75 yds in the air" Lindy?Bread said:Jake Browning counter point. I am really a fan of how Pete is bringing Salvon along slowly...also how he hasn't over used Gaskin or Coleman yet too.
The running game should get stronger as everyone else gets tired and banged up.
This ia great and all, but your post is also the reason we lost to ASU -
Why would you ever run it with cobra on the field

Jeff "I can throw the ball 75 yards in the air lindy. would have been unstoppable with John rossLebamDawg said:

I want to bump this to point out after anointing Salvon the next Kaufman because his talent was so undeniable, Jon Smith gave him 2 touches the next week.

This is a direct result of your offensive identity being "we just run plays".Doogles said:I want to bump this to point out after anointing Salvon the next Kaufman because his talent was so undeniable, Jon Smith gave him 2 touches the next week.
This staff ebbs and flows from an offensive game plan on a week to week basis is amazing.
This year against teams we've did the following: Throws to running backs (Temple) Jake scrambling vs Montana, don't remember Fresno, Rush Gaskin 2nd half vs CU. Jake to Pettis 2nd half vs. Beavs, Side to side throws to Pettis, along with showcase of Hunter Bryant versus Cal, 40 passes vs ASU, No passes versus UCLA, Savon with 10 touches versus Oregon and last night versus Tree 2 touches for Savon.
Point is from one week to next we are installing a offense for one game and then we never see it again. Can that work in a P5 conference?
