Jennifer Cohen said it is hard getting good OOC teams to agree to come to UW?

Looking at some of our OOC opponents over the last 30 years: Nebraska, LSU, Notre Dame, Miami, Michigan State, BYU, etc...
Why could we got those teams then, but can't now? Is Jenn just making excuses?

Weird she would make excuses after landing Auburn. That's pretty top shelf. I want to motorboat that chunky bitch.

It'll probably be easier to schedule games when the rest of the country realizes they can no longer cherry pick the best players from the state with a phone call
-
The shitty trend of one-off neutral site games doesn't help either.
Until UW starts playing them in Vegas. -
the kickoff games are invitational. she didn't really do much, all she did was ask peterman if he wants to accept the invitationSwaye said:Weird she would make excuses after landing Auburn. That's pretty top shelf. I want to motorboat that chunky bitch.

You guys act like I'm a fucking crazy for saying we should play games in territory we recruit in.
Guess what - I didn't invent that idea.
It's pretty fucking standard. Otherwise, what's the benefit?
Why would UGA want to schedule a potential road loss with UW if they fill up their stadium fine without those kinds of games?
Is it really that hard to understand? -
As long as you can sneak into the CFP with a weak schedule, there's no chincentive to change.Dennis_DeYoung said:You guys act like I'm a fucking crazy for saying we should play games in territory we recruit in.

In the years ahead I would like to see home-and-home with the likes of Texas, Oklahoma, TCU or BYU.Dennis_DeYoung said:You guys act like I'm a fucking crazy for saying we should play games in territory we recruit in.

You're right. There's way more talent in South Bend, Indiana. It's not like UGa can come up here and grab the #1 QB in the nation from Lake Stevens.Dennis_DeYoung said:Why would UGA want to schedule a potential road loss with UW if they fill up their stadium fine without those kinds of games?

You're right. But you do that when you're a loser program and have to sell yourself to 16 year old kids. Or propose to them on bended knee.
You either want to play for Washington and Chris Petersen or you don't. Petersen doesn't even waste his time with kids who want to play the recruiting game. I think you need to change the way you think.
It's not there yet... but Pete is absolutely building a destination. And I think we are going to see the results of "the process" for years to come. -

The funny part is that said QB is door.ass.out. after this season.TTJ said:

Agree and swap out BYU for aTm. Helps with Texas recruiting and exposure in SEC/Big12 regions.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

It goes back to my question. Why were we able to get home games with Nebraska, LSU, Notre Dame, Miami, Michigan State, Ohio State, Michigan, etc... if it is so hard (according to Cohen) to get teams to come play here?Dennis_DeYoung said:You guys act like I'm a fucking crazy for saying we should play games in territory we recruit in.

Your point is still kind of valid but I think she actually had to do more than check with her boss.

my honest guess is that Sark and Woody manufactured this thing (water is wet), but it's simply going to take Cohen a bit of time to unwind it, so she's simply throwing little indirect dares into the wind while she works with Pete to figure out how badly we really want Oklahoma type competition coming up here.uzi said:

When you have Ty and Gilby schools line up to play you. Pool Boy dumbed it down for Sark to get 7 wins.
UW can get home homes with anyone because of the size of the stadium.
But the tuff or non tuff non con schedules of the past have nothing to do with going 11-1. That comes from not going 5-4 in the league every year.
Colorado didn't kill us in 90, UCLA did. LRR -

People forget Wisconsin backed out of a game with us this year. People forget that.
Considering they are undefeated and don't have to play a soul until the Big Cc, looks like it worked out, because we would skull fuck those cheese heads into Oblivion. -
Woodward gave it up easier.
From what I'm hearing Jen has yet to show anyone but Peterman her big sloppy tits. -
"Jennifer Cohen said it is hard getting good OOC teams to agree to come to UW?"
