in College Football Forum
I wrote last week that UW would waltz to an undefeated, injury free season.

I heard they lost last night and that one of their players legs broke in half.

In my opinion, though, in what happened last night is a much bigger issue. I worry that their offense, which many have called a gimmick may have been figured out. Can Washington beat teams that have big, tough, blitzing defenses? I think the jury is still out. But a lot of people are saying this morning that if you have a fast defense you will beat Washington if you line up and smack them in the mouth.

Anyway. In my opinion, and I am rarely wrong, see the off season OSU thread for reference, I think Washington will finish this regular season by winning out with No further injuries and it won’t be much of a contest.

    UW had a frustrating loss due to some retarded coaching and offensive philosophy.

    Oregon is just a rotting carcass at this point, trying to peddle the last few rounds of "swag" before the general population turns their money over to the Timbers/Blazers.

    I agree. Bad philosophy, coaching, kicking and some argue quarterbacking.

    And you can’t expect to match wits with Todd Graham.

    Other than that I think you’re ready to take it to the next level.

    Meh, UW prison fucked him last year. I don't believe at all that this thing is going to devolve or won't get back to the playoffs in Petersen's tenure. Changes will need to be made though.

    Oregon, on the other hand, is dead. Losers lose close games on the road while track/bball schools get blown the fuck out by a team with no quarterback.

    Not sure I’m following. I don’t think I’ve said any of that at all.

    If you want to start a thread about Oregon and their continued woes I’d probably chime in.

    I wanted to talk about Washington a little bit. My Pac-12 pick of the season.

    Anyway. It sounds like you guys are great on paper. Maybe the best in the country. But I don’t have to tell you, they don’t play these games on paper.

    I didn’t even watch the Oregon game. I flew down to LA for the first 2 games of the NLCS.
