Some sports talk guy from Portland was on KJR this morning talking about Anderson leaving and the ONLY candidate he mentioned was Smith, saying "UW fans may not like this, but..."

He owned Sark even though his teams are pretty much identical to Sark's. Good offense and QB. Shitty OL that hamstrings things. A defense that bends vs bad teams and shatters vs good teams. Inability to beat a certain rival team ala losing to Stanford by a lot every year (see Sark vs Oregon)
Mora would have been 9 win Mora here. The Bo Pelini of the NorthWest. Better than Sark and a fuckload better than Ty. Mora would have been as good a hire as we were capable of at the time.
