Trap Line of the Year...Oregon -2.5

This line makes absolutely no sense to me. I had it at about Oregon -4.5 with Herbert.

Usually when I see a line like this (where the line is begging you to put the mortgage on one side) not involving Oregon, I've learned to stay away. If something looks too good to be true, it usually is. Is the Oregon money just coming in on a letdown spot for the Cougs?

I wouldn't touch it. I don't have any clue what to make of either team at this point

First Road game for the year for the Cougs.

The Ducks will run run run run da doo run run all night long and it's not clear how our undersized D line will hold up. When we score it will be in a 3 to 5 minute drive. When they score it figures to be longer drives and it could gas our Dline come 4th quarter like Cal's did.

I thought Cal at -14 or whatever it ended up at was stealing last week. It turned out to be a sucker bet.

WSU wins rather easily, say 34-17?

Cougs are a pretty veteran team and Oregon is reeling but might be safer to bet on the O/U. I'm seeing it at 62 and Oregon will find a way to put up a lot of points on WSU without Herbert.

I like Florida at home vs. LSU and Colorado at home vs. Dick Rod for a parlay.

Nebraska getting 12 points vs Wisconsin at home seems like a solid pick

UF -3 was the one that stood out most to me (aside from wazzu ml)

Maybe 14 but 12 is too low...Nebraska hasn't beaten anyone and lost to Northern Illinois. At least Wisconsin crushed BYU and beat Northwestern by more than the score indicated (NU made a nice run in the 4th quarter to make it closer).

Giving Fat Royce Freeman 25 carries against Southern Utah and Wyoming doesn't make you smashmouth.

In the era of finesse football this will be one of the easiest games to bet. Oregon will use seven blockers and smash the ball into an undersized defense. The Ducks probably have the best pass rush in the conference with just their line outside of maybe USC who hammered Faulk all night.

It will be close at the half, no lead bigger than 10 either way. By the middle of the 3rd Wazzu's D will be worn out. It will get ugly in the 4th.

If the Ducks would have played like this against ASU they would have won by 24. Taggart and the boys don't get to play the way they want to anymore which plays into the strength of the people they have.

Why are you assuming they will play that way against WSU?

They don't have a choice. They will have a true freshman QB and freshman WR's. At most Burmeister will have 18 throws in 75+ snaps.

Mosster must be trying for a whoosh.

Nebraska is maaaybe a top 50 team, they lost to ASU (definitely not a top 50 team at this point), and now no longer have their starting QB for 6 weeks.

A true frosh or walk-on QB will make sure it gets ugly in the 4th quarter?

Ally will get the start and then after his 2nd pick, they'll bring in Burmeister.
