Time to take a walk on the beach and gain some perspective.

Trying to be objective without using excuses:
1. Wa St fifth straight home game
2. Wa St at home
3. Multiple injuries for USC the past few months....... both starting OL tackles during or just prior to the game which provided little time to ready replacements or adjust game plan.
4. Three physical teams in a row prior to this game
5. Second travel game in a row for USC
6. Six days rest after a tough game
7. Refs were less than balanced
8. Wa St was rated #16 and could be under rated. Their Offense is good.
9. Late night game on Friday in a place very few SC fans visited due to lack of other interests.
Did our play calling suck....yes......Does Darnold need another year.....probably......are our receivers good.......not yet.......is the team still young due to sanctions.......yes......is USC a dominant team and similar to teams fielded by CPC that was shocked by Wa St.......no........we are an above average team given everything else is balanced that was beaten by all the factors above.
Bottom line.....this team was just tired and beaten up. No surprise. Lets go home and win next week. -
The whole team was discombobulated. Not a good night. I hardly recognized USC's lineup by the 4th quarter - and yet, we still had a chance!

The team is young due to sanctions.
They were tired & beat up... not tired enough for rocking the team busses & faggot dancing before the game.
They were just cocky, unprepared, & undisciplined motherfuckers. -
Cal, still with an Air Raid roster, is a "physical" team?
-
SC back ups are better than WSU starters. Your coaches and training staff suck dick.

As any Pac-12 fan knows; a trip to Pullman will tell you if your team is any good or not.Pitchfork51 said:There is no excuse to losing to wazzu

USC is not. -
How many years since the sanctions lifted? How many full classes averaging 3.84 stars per recruit (Thanks TSIO website!)?PurpleBaze said:http://wearesc.com/forum/index.php?threads/fire-tee.46453/

Sanctions? Ho. Lee. Shit.
-
We lost too many players from last season and injuries are killing us. We were bound to lose. A national championship is a bit lofty this season, and any realistic fan knows this. We can still have a very good season. Play for the PAC-12 and possibly a playoff or Rose Bowl.

In my book, the Cougs still haven't beat anyone. That was not our USC team out there.
-
You don't run your offense to just run plays because you have this play or that play (stupid flea flickers).. you run plays that are WORKING and to beat the defense.

Just FYI. Wins games with 2 star athletes.
-
we have to see the whole picture here. This team I think blew its load physically against Stanford like Ali Frazier and neither team has been the same since.
-
Will Derting was a 2-Star

I follow recruiting on THIS BOARD! I knew almost all the guys on the field in the fourth quarter for SC and they are fucking talented kids. Most of them came with one word on this board, DOOMED, when it came to our chances of getting any of them. What a dumb comment. Fuck them.2001400ex said:The whole team was discombobulated.
