    Understandable our boys came out a little slow. They have to be a little down after the refs totally jobbed 'em last night. Lorenzo will have 'em right there by game's end.

    Boston College currently 116th in scoring. Playing the Huskies should do wonders for their ranking.

    Thankfully the UC Irvine game told me to go ahead and give up on the season early. At this point I am just enjoying watching some of the new guys play.

    I think if JJ and Simmons were in their to help rebound that lasts year team was worse but with what he has now absolutely. Which is sad because Goss/Anderson/Johnson all look like they can be decent to really good players soon. All play fearless and want the ball.

    Opposite of the Gaddy/Suggs fucking dreckfest we had last year. Which most of the time they played hot potato because they didn't want to be involved and when they did it was some horrific drive or shot.

    I think this team will get better as the year goes on. I like the young players. The big guys suck and Aziz was a big loss because he was actually a good big on defense. The defense and rebounding has been terrible and needs to improve.

    Yea I see us losing a lot of games until Simmons comes back. We just can't rebound or defend with this line up. Romar looks completely lost.

    I wish Mike Anderson would drive/shoot a little more. He looks like he is a great team player but he looks like a guy who could average 10-12 points a game. At first when I saw him I just saw him as one of those hustle guys like Simmons who isn't good at anything but has a crazy motor. He actually has a pretty solid skill set though.

    Stat sheet stuffer for sure.

    He is a true frosh playing his first few games of the season so not all is lost. But I sure wish we had

    Get a fucking stop!!!!!! Christ!!!! This is just getting annoying now. If they get a stop they don't get the rebound. They have some decent defensive possessions that just get totally ruined in the last 5 seconds of the shot clock. Some guy drives through the zone untouched for an easy lay up or someone making a cut gets completely missed.

    This offense really isn't all that bad though.

    Mike Anderson is fucking good! I have a hard time believing there were 45 JC players better than him.

    I thought he was going to be an impact defensive player. The scouting report on him was wrong. Doogs said he was going to be a smart, pass first, defensive leader. He looks like a smart, scoring PG who plays below average defense (like most freshmen). I like him a lot and think he is going to be great, but he needs to play better defense and he makes the same typical mistakes all freshmen do unless they are elite.

    I enjoy watching this team much more than last year's team. I really wish we still had Aziz. He would mitigate some of these problems on defense. Anything Blackwell adds in the post is mitigated by his bad defense, average rebounding, and lack of athleticism. I also really want Johnson to keep getting better and replace Andrews. His ceiling is way higher, and I want next year's 1-3 to be NWG, Johnson, and Anderson. Andrews can be the back up PG and a scorer off the bench.
