These uniforms are sark uniforms. Designed with input by him. Nike starts making/collaborating on these so far in advance it's nearly impossible to change it after it is agreed to.Tripper_Johnson said:

And I believe there is some rule about only changing your primary uniforms once every four or five years. Hence why we are stuck with them. -

I believe that if our AD told Nike we need them changed ASAP and if they are not, Adidas or Under Armour will be our next uniform supplier, the "rule" wouldn't matter.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:

That's an NFL rule. We changed in 09 then in 10. Also in 01 and in 03. The piping went from gold to purple on the whites.

My hunch is Petersen couldn't tell you the details of the uniform other than the colora. As in he's got better things to worry about.
