Question regarding in-season get together

Back in the halcyon days of the Taki Tiki, we had 2-3 get togethers a year. One constant complaint I received was that it was in Edmonds, and difficult to get to on a weeknight for some people.
If I found a location in Woodinville or Bellevue does that make it accessible to more people? Please chime in with your thoughts. I'm thinking of organizing something for October.
