If we do things right we could get all of our OL from in state in 2019.

Sark leading the team in his offer post. This kid does seem like the type that would fall for the Oregon hype.

Maybe he grew up in Hawai'i like Shelton. Ever consider that smart guy?

The timing of Peterman's offer sure was interesting.

Kid seemed to enjoy his time at Willie Lyles-Taggart's camp this weekend.
What made this visit so big for the 6-foot-6, 300-pound prospect?

"I was beyond happy," Kalepo said of his time at Oregon. "I love the coaches, the players, and the facilities. I love it all."

Kalepo said he was caught off guard with how nice Oregon's campus was and in particular Oregon's staff.

"Touring the campus was nice, and just seeing how much the coaches really wanted the best for the players [I liked that]," Kalepo said what surprised him.

Kalepo spent most of his time with special teams coordinator Raymond Woodie, but he also got time with Mario Cristobal and Joe Salave'a during his 36 hour visit to Eugene.

"I loved it, the coaches and the atmosphere," said Kalepo. "Everything about it [I loved]."

Previously this summer Kalepo went down to USC and landed an offer at the Trojans Rising Stars camp. He told DuckTerritory.com after that USC offer the Trojans were the best visit and a school that will be very difficult to beat.

"Not anymore," said Kelepo. "Do something."

    I dunno, maybe.

UO offered during his unofficial this weekend. He was quooking pretty hard. Then Peterman decided he was an OKG and offered today.

    That's all.

Does anybody know how often he's been on campus?

I'd have to default to Pepsi here ... but if he wasn't on campus for the Dirt Dawgs camp a few weeks ago, then we probably haven't had him on campus since then.

Another Sark recruit. We need this guy. Peterman knows it - no Malloe. We have a shot.

It's not hard to figure out.
They have the momentum of a great new recruiting staff and have had owned this region for a decade.

I happen to think Taggart is more of a good salesman than a great coach so well see if this momentum actually carries over when they finish 7-6 this year

Harrison had his UW offer pinned as well until he committed to Oregon.

Reading way too much into Twitter stalking ...

But probably fair to say that we have a little making up to do here
Yeah his twitter means basically nothing this far out, especially given that he hadn't gotten a UW offer yet.

I love that Coach Pete scheduled an unofficial with this kid the day after Oregon's gay "Saturday Night Live" camp knowing Taggart and company would offer him and try to force a premature commitment and he would have to hose all that green slime off of him the next day. I bet Prehm didn't know he's Shelton's nephew and has already known Pete for years. Haha oops. I'm guessing this kid has been to UW so many times that other schools are exciting simply because they're new and different. It'll be like that for a while as he goes through the process and visits other schools but at the end of the day I doubt he passes on the opportunity to stay home, carry on that family legacy, and play for championships.

    COOK IT?
