Joe Williams #28 was the best tailback in the conference last year. Dont know how that guy doesnt make an NFL roster. Ran harder than Reuben Droughns...and that says a lot. Faster than Dtoughns too

When you re-watch UW games from last year it's incredible how good we were given the staggering amount of missed opportunities by Wooching. Countless point blank plays botched time and time again. Wooching was one of the only negative WAR players we had last year. I expect a huge improvement at BUCK with Benning.

Whooching didnt play buck...Mathis did. Potoae and Obrien filled in. But yes i expect big things from potoae

God damned, defiler of my beloved dock!

Technically true but highly incomplete, Mathis only played six games and three of those were scrimmages. Psalm played more Buck last year than anyone, and far more Buck when it mattered, including the Utah game. That's more than filling in, that's most of the year at the top of the depth chart.puppylove_sugarsteel said:Whooching didnt play buck...Mathis did. Potoae and Obrien filled in. I don't remember psalm playing to the short side of the field that much. He mostly played on the wide side.

I thought Potatoes played more wide side than Psalm, but I do think they alternated some. Psalm's most memorable whiffs (Darnold especially) probably came from SAM.WeakarmCobra said:I don't remember psalm playing to the short side of the field that much. He mostly played on the wide side.
Regardless, the big point is that @pat_hm was making is that it's amazing how good our defense was considering how many plays Psalm blew. He was on the field all season long and whiffed tim and Timu again. Whichever position he was at and whoever is replacing him should be a considerable improvement. -
Did you know he retired?puppylove_sugarsteel said:Joe Williams #28 was the best tailback in the conference last year. Dont know how that guy doesnt make an NFL roster. Ran harder than Reuben Droughns...and that says a lot. Faster than Dtoughns too
