I mean Washington is/ was a defensive school, and this fucktard recruited MJ as a running back? He tried to turn Shaquille into an offensive player... I mean fuck Mora turns his playmakers into defensive studs #hi Ball

It's probably better that he didn't try to personally recruit any of those guys. Their impression of him would have been the same as Jack's. They would have seen immediately that Sark has no vision and he's a terrible salesman.

In the interview where Jack said he trusted Mora over Sark, one reporter asked what position Washington recruited him for and Jack said that Sark and coaches told him "any position he wanted".

The SEC schools basically recruited him as a RB as well, but I agree, when you get an athlete like that who has any interest in coming aboard, you need to be flexible. Besides, most big time programs adhere to the tried and true formula of putting your best athletes on defense.

How? I guess it can't be said enough, but before such questions will begin to attract answers, UW must get back to hiring football knowledgeable and focused management to steer UW athletics in the direction it must go if we are to ever see Husky Football in Husky Stadium again. No more of this unqualified AD-in-training bullshit or women who have a softball stuck where the sun never shines. Scott Woodward may be smart and capable in things we care nothing about, but he obviously doesn't know shit about football, especially the kind of football we prefer. The AD at a football school can be no better than the football coaches he hires and on that basis alone, Woodward is a failure who may never pull his head out far enough to ever find the exit, much less the head football coach we need and deserve.
