Earl is coming off an injury and has a lot to prove. He called himself a master of football.
These guys are corny and like to take any slight to motivate them. The defense is going to be hungry and them slipping from 1st to 4th or whatever has been the real difference. The OL has always kind of sucked.
Hopefully Sherman tries to show off how smart he is, and his business mindset instead of causing problems.
Knocking Russ off his pedestal might end up being a positive as well.
The team had gotten too comfortable. The Sherman trade rumors and the recent stories might bring back the old attitude. Or it won't. Either way it will be interesting. -
The media hasn't shut up about them for at least six months. It's mostly those talking head shows and sports radio and they're always looking for anything to talk about it.
