Normally a moral victory spread would be somewhere near 3-7 pts. However you can't expect to win on the road in only your 5th year, against the #13 team in the nation...WITHOUT your starting QB.
So the moral victory spread increases to 3 scores.

We were only down 3 points in the 3rd quarter to the #13 team on the road in only our coach's 2nd season. If the Oregon game is considered a moral victory, this certainly is.
