Can he play Defensive End?

So, there seem to be a stash of these vikings hiding around the world at this point... him, Teagan Quitoriano out of Sprague, OR and Draco Bynum from Wilsonville (a/k/a - snapchat a retard masturbating town).
I think Teagan and this kid are really similar. I like them both a lot. This kid has first-step explosion that is rare, with that height and weight and with Socha (WAIT TILL SOCHA GETS HIS HANDS ON HIM!!!), he could be a star for us.
He's still a bit raw in terms of football skills and the thing that holds me back from going insane is he doesn't find the ball carrier immediately and just blow people up like DJ or Jaelan Phillips do. At the same time, any time you have a guy with that kind of explosion and with that kind of size, he's really attractive.
DDY 2, but an intriguing guy. I like him a lot. -
It's a down year for the blacks.

We've offered 11 white guys, 28 black guys, and 10 polys. Looks about normal to me.backthepack said:It's a down year for the blacks.

He's good. If he's close to the 6'6" 245 listed on 24/7, he could end up on the DL.
-
Like Vincent Vega, I'll take the Wildeman

My neck of the woods.
Wit til Bill Snyder offers him! -

Jesus, Nebraska is going to get fucking slaughtered in the big 10. There are 4 better teams in that league

Not so fast, their coach is better than Pete Carroll, so they should win that conference rather easily.WeakarmCobra said:Jesus, Nebraska is going to get fucking slaughtered in the big 10. There are 4 better teams in that league

Not sure that there has ever been a Coach that has gotten more credit for accomplishing so little as Riley

I'd actually put Riley over Sark in the terms of shit accomplishments ...
He's a career 108-91 for his college career and below .500 in conference (58-63 at Oregon St and 9-8 at Nebraska). In the NFL he was 14-34 for 3 seasons turning an 8-8 team in his 1st year into 1-15 his 2nd year. He followed that up in Year 3 by taking a 5-2 start into a 9 game losing streak to finish the year 5-11 and get fired.
In college, in his 16 completed seasons as a college coach, his highest finish in his conference or division is tied for 2nd ... which he's done 3 times. His best bowl game is the Alamo Bowl. His next best bowl game is the Sun Bowl (twice). He's won 7 conference games in a season only once in 16 seasons. He's finished 6-3 in a season in conference 5x. He's never won 8 conference games in a season.
If you want to point to his 40-32 record in Canada and 2 Grey Cups as a sign that he's a great coach, go ahead.
Riley's a very close friend with one of my Uncle's ... by all accounts Riley's a good guy. He's just not a very good coach ... he's in the Romar class of coaches. He stands for the right things and that enamors people that don't want a scandal and to do things the right way.
Sark's actually got talent (at least schematically). He's also for most of his career been a drunk, cheat, and just in general a deplorable human being to his team, coaches, and public. He doesn't have the nuts and bolts in place to be a successful head coach because he's lacking in way too many places. But I also would be surprised if he gets anything more than an OC job anytime in the future ... that's probably his comfort level. Responsible but not responsible.
And if you really want to get to the heart of the Sark vs Riley debate ... Sark was 3-2 against Riley while at UW ... -
