Johnny Nanses never sleeps.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:USC is going to make a run at Jacob Sirmon, and Sirmon has expressed interest to them as well.

To be fair, he expresses interest in anyone that will allow him to say that he's blessed on Twitter to receive an offer from them.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:USC is going to make a run at Jacob Sirmon, and Sirmon has expressed interest to them as well.

So he'd rather compete with the #1 ranked QB in the class than #MyYankoff?
Chinteresting.
Also, doubt it. -
Sounds like USC might move on from Corral.

Go get em Pete.Dennis_DeYoung said:Sounds like USC might move on from Corral.
Give Nansen a call, offer Sirmon for Carroll straight up.
Done and done. -
Kid is a fucking stud. I would rather have Corral over Sirmon.Dennis_DeYoung said:Sounds like USC might move on from Corral.

I don't hate Sirmon at all. He's improving and has a lot of physical talent, but the best QB's have a flair to their game that he doesn't have. He's too mechanical.WeakarmCobra said:

I know, I know... Nick Saban and LSU offered him. -
Just posted this. At the Junior day with Culp. Seems all dawgs but who knows.

is it possible he's going to visit $C to help recruit a guy or who we're interested in?CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:USC is going to make a run at Jacob Sirmon, and Sirmon has expressed interest to them as well.

Sirmon being a fan his whole life is the only thing that gives me hesitation that he is leaving.pat_hm said:Just posted this. At the Junior day with Culp. Seems all dawgs but who knows.

There's more reason to have faith ... him going outside of UW will be a difficult decision for him ... to do so would literally be turning his back on his family ... very difficult to do.RoadDawg55 said:

The reason for him to leave would be because he feels like he was slighted and lied to ... that really wasn't the case.
-
Never blame a kid not passing up on a USC education.
Plus there certainly won't be any competition there either.
Enjoy Ivan and a blown out shoulder or acl. -
My one takeaway from this picture is that there's a 0% chance Culp is any taller than 6'4... Sirmon seems taller.pat_hm said:Just posted this. At the Junior day with Culp. Seems all dawgs but who knows.

He's got plenty of time to grow. If all goes according to plan he'll redshirt and won't see the field for 3 years. Depth is a beautiful thing...NEsnake12 said:

There are a lot of factors. I'm not big on thinking he doesn't want to compete if he goes elsewhere. He has a ton of options and I wouldn't blame him for finding one with an easier path to playing time.Tequilla said:

He has every right to make the best decision for himself. My opinion is that isn't UW. I don't think he is as good as Yankoff, but that doesn't mean he's not a legit starter at most schools. -

You, me, or anybody else outside of him and to a lesser extent have any reason to have an opinion on where the best place for a kid ... that's just FSRoadDawg55 said:

If there was no Yankoff, you would never have said such stupid shit ...
The bottom line is that as is right now Sirmon and Yankoff have signed up to compete to be the heir apparent to Browning and the starting QB for a PAC12 and National Championship contending program ...
But you are right ... there are better places for either of them to go where they don't have to compete for a starting position ...

And that's fine. If he stays at 6-4 that's not a liability. But I don't think growing an inch to 6-5 by the time he's 20 is a stretch at all. Regardless after a red shirt he's going to be a monster backing up Hunter Bryant. Love it.PurpleThrobber said:

If Sirmon stays then he is more mature than I gave him credit for. I hope he stays.

According to Eklund (so who knows), Pete sat down with Sirmon after his recent flirting with the LA schools (he took unofficial visits). He essentially said, "you're either a UW commit or you're not". This may explain his over-ecstatic tweets toward UW commits.
