There are a lot of factors. I'm not big on thinking he doesn't want to compete if he goes elsewhere. He has a ton of options and I wouldn't blame him for finding one with an easier path to playing time.Tequilla said:

He has every right to make the best decision for himself. My opinion is that isn't UW. I don't think he is as good as Yankoff, but that doesn't mean he's not a legit starter at most schools. -

The bottom line is that as is right now Sirmon and Yankoff have signed up to compete to be the heir apparent to Browning and the starting QB for a PAC12 and National Championship contending program ...
But you are right ... there are better places for either of them to go where they don't have to compete for a starting position ...

And that's fine. If he stays at 6-4 that's not a liability. But I don't think growing an inch to 6-5 by the time he's 20 is a stretch at all. Regardless after a red shirt he's going to be a monster backing up Hunter Bryant. Love it.PurpleThrobber said:

According to Eklund (so who knows), Pete sat down with Sirmon after his recent flirting with the LA schools (he took unofficial visits). He essentially said, "you're either a UW commit or you're not". This may explain his over-ecstatic tweets toward UW commits.
