I actually respect Jude to a certain extent.
The fucker knows he could do boring-ass positional recaps periodically and probably dwindle the Doogman base because his content is free.
But he says, "fuck it" and is just waiting for another round of layoffs at the Times so he can get let go, claim unemployment, then he can get paid to eat Taco Bell and play Call of Duty all fucking day and night. -

The dawgman guys know absolutely nothing about football. A lot of times they just make up bullshit.
Ekland has this recent thing where he asks 2017 commits opponents for a scouting report. There is no way he actually talks to players and coaches about Cook, Haener, Bynum, etc. -

I had hoped this site would be a place to have fun discussing football, but even the few promising threads ultimately devolve into insults and name calling. While I certainly don't always agree with everyone, after hanging out here for a while, the mods have a point: some of the shtick gets old after a while. The older I get, the more I judge activities by whether I enjoy them, and I simply don't enjoy having my intelligence questioned by a bunch of internet idiots. Perhaps I will catch you in the future at another site somewhere between Scout, Rivals and Utefans. Anyway, carry on the good fight and feel free to drop an email if you want to discuss Utes."
The guy that sent me this note is NO fan of Webmonky (RIP) or any of the other various internet jerks over all three sites.
Look, I'm not going to advocate for people to be censored (like the d-bags that ruined Utefans), nor am I going to lecture anybody. I will only say that this website has the opportunity to become a REAL and UNFILTERED. The problem is that a few folks on here insist on turning threads into name-calling and 8th-grade-level pissing contests, or just an opportunity to 'zing' other people.
I'll be the first to say that at times I've been guilty of that BS as well.
I guess my only suggestion is that some folks should decide if they want this to become the website that ALL OF US have described at one time or another - a place of INTELLIGENT analysis where INTENSE criticism and UNSCRIPTED opinion is welcome - or do we want Scout to be just a place of one-liners, biting insults, and contests to tear down others. I realize that it's often both, but I tend to agree with this guy that it tilts a little too much toward the latter. Plus, Dan's midnight move to Scout never sat well with me anyway.

A little backstory, Opening day this last season, the guy who runs Rivals merged with Scout unannounced. He took his domain (Utezone.com) too, so when we went to login, all the sudden it's a Scout site asking for money. The rivals site had a new domain but I was too stupid to figure it out, but I shouldn't have had to, no warning, no announcement until after the fact, so I paid to get in. It was a dick move to say the least. That's how I wound up a Scout subscriber. -

Rome wasn't built in a day. Dan has been busy issuing warnings to people. It's not like he has sat on his hands and done nothing. The ban hammer has also popped our a few times as well. Dan has been getting a feel for things here and didn't just want to come in heavy handed and ban a whole bunch of people. In my time here, in my opinion it has gotten better. Is it at the level it was on the rivals site? I would say no. But it is getting better and I expect that to continue.
With regards to his moving to scout from rivals due to rivals failure to commit to supporting the site better, what was he supposed to do? By contractual agreement with Rivals, he was prohibited from announcing that he was moving the site to Scout. So, if your panties are all bunched up because he didn't say anything, that's the way business works. Had he said anything, you can bet that Yahoo would've sued him.
