    The sad thing in today's basketball is that a damn good zone can really fuck up a lot of today's players because they don't value mid-range shots ... which are often the easiest to get against the zone.

    Dickerson undecided (he's staying MBA is inhis ear) Johnson he's staying and Crisp he's reppin home town, he's staying and if Coach Hop is who we hope he is , expect a huge improvement in Crisp

    Yeah...I'm sure it would be super difficult to find a JC guy this offseason who can pick up 2 dumb fouls in the first 5 minutes and who's shooting form makes Bernie Sanders look like Ray Allen.

    Congrats on your captain obvious statement of the day ...

    First thing defensively is to have a mindset of NO LAYUPS ... that's obvious to some but clearly missed by Romar and his team the last 5+ years as they gave up back door after back door.

    The point I was trying to make is that to a good shooter a mid range shot isn't that different than a layup.

    If your defensive strategy as a whole is to wall off the lane to take away layups and force teams to shoot over you with contested jumpers you're going to end up being a pretty damn good defensive team.
