So we care about people losing insurance again
Good to know
Obamacare is a piece of shit. You lost. Stop crying like a bitch -
You do realize all the replacement plan does is end subsidies for the poor, reduce the number of people on Medicaid, and cut taxes on the wealthy, right? Well it gets rid of the mandate and replaces it with a different mandate that's a profit center for insurance companies.RaceBannon said:So we care about people losing insurance again

And yes, Obamacare was a shit piece of legislation that was put together an many changes needed when it was passed. But the basic platform of creating insurance exchanges for the free market was a good idea. And it did insure many millions of people. -
Yet, you were Obamacares most staunch defender parroting the false promises every step of the way. Only now are you admitting it's failure

No choice in plans and requiring insurance one does not need made it very expensive. You can not add 34 million people that do not pay or do not want to pay and have it be cheaper. Guessing math wasn't your thing.2001400ex said:

If the young healthy people would have bought health insurance the last 3 years, you might have something to cry about.CirrhosisDawg said:
No! Great news! Your employer, the federal government (tyfys), won't force you to buy health insurance. Although, If you are in the private sector and don't have company provided health insurance, you will pay an insurer a premium plus a 30% penalty. So, if you are so stupid as to not buy health insurance, you can now pay the insurer instead of the IRS. And doogie will suck you off for the effort.Dude61 said:So 14 million will not be forced by the government to buy something they don't want. This is great news.
But they didn't and they still won't, so your precious mandate doesn't work.
That and you sound poor as fuck. -
Again answer the question. How is the new plan going to fix that? When you take away credits based on income.salemcoog said:

We'll all just cover them with our uninsured motorist coverage. They have meth and other important things to buy. -
So far terrible. There is one that has a decent body but has that "I've done meth for years" face and teeth thing going. I hoping for a good crop next Saturday. Like some hot sorority girl that just got popped for DUI twice but by going to rehab she gets a clean driving record type. They pretty much let us do whatever after dinner so I could certainly see working some ATM in her room if she shows up.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

But I'll make one more move. I know its' hard for you to wrap your fucking pea brain around, but there are 2 different concepts I'm talking about.
The regulation part is allowing true competition amongst carriers all over the 50 states.
And if you can't find affordable health insurance on your own and it's as big of a deal to you as it is Hondo.... Go find a job where your employer pays most of the health insurance. -
That is something that should have been added into Obamacare a long time ago. What about the rest of the regulations? It seems as you take some away, you add some.... It's just they are regulations you agree with.salemcoog said:

The CBO projects this will happen because the AHCA would repeal Obamacare’s individual mandate, so some people might not sign up for their employer’s health plan, with no threat of being fined later. But also, the GOP bill might induce more employers to stop offering health insurance.
That’s because the bill would also repeal the employer mandate, which requires businesses above a certain size to offer health coverage to their workers.

From your own article:
For the last 10 months, states have been legally allowed to let insurers sell plans outside their borders.
Despite the idea’s enduring popularity, no states have signaled interest in the policy, insurance experts and regulators say.
So it's not the companies holding shit back. It's the states.

Why do you ignore the conflict between your "we don't need no regulations" to the removal of the employer mandate. Along with your "pull up your bootstraps" and get a job that offers medical insurance?salemcoog said:
Fuck you libtards are myopic and basic. Of course some companies aren't interested in selling across state lines. However insurers in smaller states would be more than happy to see their target market expand exponentially overnight. And you can't fucking read to boot.dhdawg said:

No!
That was one of the regulations you now want taken away. Which is it?
But I'll make one more move. I know its' hard for you to wrap your fucking pea brain around, but there are 2 different concepts I'm talking about.
The regulation part is allowing true competition amongst carriers all over the 50 states.
And if you can't find affordable health insurance on your own and it's as big of a deal to you as it is Hondo.... Go find a job where your employer pays most of the health insurance.
companies aren't interested in selling across state lines.
it's a bullshit worthless talking point

BTW -is this a case when it's OK for the states to get their rights trampled by the feds? You know, like when it comes to weed?
You dumbfucks don't know if you're punched or bored. You just know no matter what Trump does, you're going to polish his helmet. -

And the market will correct itself should that boogie man of yours come down the pike. If a company isn't required to offer health ins to full time employees and pulls it... you can bet there will be a mass exodus from that company to other companies that do offer it. Competition is a great thing.
Fortunately Obama didn't turn this country into your Socialist paradise, so if companies that are currently mandated to cover their employees stopped doing so, their employees still have a choice and opportunity to go somewhere else that offered a better benefit package. It would be a stupid thing for a business to do.

Yep.
He's upset.

Then why weren't those companies offering insurance prior to the mandate? You think they'll continue to offer it just because?salemcoog said:

Think things through man. Sometimes it's not all about "free market".
