So 14 million will not be forced by the government to buy something they don't want. This is great news.

No! Great news! Your employer, the federal government (tyfys), won't force you to buy health insurance. Although, If you are in the private sector and don't have company provided health insurance, you will pay an insurer a premium plus a 30% penalty. So, if you are so stupid as to not buy health insurance, you can now pay the insurer instead of the IRS. And doogie will suck you off for the effort.
Being insured when the cost of the insurance will bankrupt you, is not insurance.
Do tell me how this plan will help bring costs down.

Costs rose, but at a slower pace than years prior to implementation. Not to mention that care did not fall. At. All. What reality are you living in?

To be clear, I am not in favor of the Trump/Ryan plan. It will just tie the Obamacare failure to Trump. The government has no constitutional authority to be in the healthcare business. Let the marketplace take care of insurance.
While we're at it, can we get the government out of corporate welfare altogether?

Dud61 thinks crackheads should be able to drive without insurance, too, because insurance would bankrupt them.

We'll all just cover them with our uninsured motorist coverage. They have meth and other important things to buy.

You are missing the point. The marketplace can provide insurance far more efficiently and cheaper than the government.

You mean like the insurance exchanges that Obamacare setup? Or how about the free market employer provided health care?

I'll be sure to tell the next uninsured cunt that runs into my truck you said so.

Then I'll pay for the damage their uninsured ass caused - just like you'll pay for every uninsured patient that goes to the ER, you dope.

You're paying one way or the other. Apparently, you like paying as much as possible.

The exchanges Obama set up are failing.

@doogie You are still missing the point. In a free capitalistic society, no one should be forced to buy health insurance.

Government needs to get out of the way, reduce regulations and encourage competition without preference based on lobbying and legislation.

At one point in my career 10 years ago, I was self employed for 4 years. I was able to procure insurance through a co-op that catered to small business people. The monthly premium, deductible and coverage's were very comparable to what I could get if I worked for a private employer.

That was about 10 years ago. WTH has happened since then?

    Obfuscation. Got it.

You know the architect of Obamacare thinks you're a rube, right?

yes. because dying because you exceeded a lifetime cap on insurance or were denied coverage because you had acne when you were 15 is awesome.

14 million lose coverage, with more to follow in subsequent years.

    20% increase in premiums.

Penalty paid to insurance companies if you elect to skip coverage altogether.

Tax cut for the rich (aka none of you).

    Sounds great!

Kill off the old, poor, dumb fucktards that voted for Trump as quickly as possible.

How many of those supposed 14 million will 'lose' coverage because they don't want coverage and are now free from being forced to buy it?

You aren't "forced" to buy it now either.

You'll still have to pay a penalty either way.

    So, zero. Final answer.

They will lose coverage because they can't afford. Not because they don't want it. It's funny watching you, dude61, and sledog with the exact same talking points memo.
