You're on an internet message board trying to change the world.Fenderbender123 said:The Republicans really should have just repealed Obamacare all the way. And then they should deregulate the fuck out of the entire health care industry so that it becomes competitive again.
Let hospitals start refusing treatment if people can't pay for it. Let people choose a less expensive, but riskier/less effective treatment if they don't or can't afford to pay more. Make it easier for people to get drugs....we should be able to buy drugs off the shelf at Wal-Mart without a prescription. Don't make people see an actual doctor for stupid shit. Get rid of these residency committees that limit the amount of people who can actually become a practicing doctor. Stop incentivizing employers to choose and pay for their employees' health care plans by giving them a lower payroll tax than if they had just given the employees the extra money to shop and choose their own plan, so that there is actually some individual leverage against health insurance providers.
Government has been the problem the entire time. All these rules and regulations are basically the government saying that they know how to spend our money better than us, as if the nation wasn't comprised of people with a variety of financial backgrounds and personal preferences. We should all be outraged at the lack of respect toward the American people. We know what's best for us. Give us the fucking power back, and stop policing every aspect of the god damn industry. Come on, Republicans, you're in power now...let's get it done.
That's why they have to regulate you. -
Trump should deport you to Turkey. From there you can make your way to the Syrian border, join ISIS and become a martyr for the jihad against the Great Satan.Mosster47 said:

No. I'm off the belief that government shouldn't control everything, but neither should corporations. If left unchecked, corporations will rape and pillage the nation. We need a balance between government regulations and free market. And as much as I despise government, I'd trust the government to make a health care choice over an insurance company. I've seen too many people denied surgeries that are needed or dropped from coverage in the name of profit.Fenderbender123 said:The Republicans really should have just repealed Obamacare all the way. hey, did you see Trump says he wants everyone to read it and welcomes compromise?
-
Can we just vote for it so I can see what's in it?
-
Trump lives for negotiation, so this opener is nothing more than "let's start talking". Move along. Nothing to see here for a few months.
-
Trump voters and the GOP in congress have a vastly different view on this and other subjects. Water is wet.
Trump's real "enemy" isn't the loudmouths on the left. Its the GOP leadership.
They are scared and need some reinforcement of their pea sized balls -
Trump is standing behind this plan. Its obvious he has no ideas of his own. My guess is the freedom caucus gets rid of the mandate part of it and he signs it.
-
Neither plan is fiscally sound as the current plan relied on Millenials that live in their 2 dads basements to actually buy health insurance.bananasnblondes said:So uh...they are repealing the mandate but keeping the non-denial for pre-existing conditions stuff.
How the fuck are you going to pay for that without raising premiums through the roof?
In truth, this is so bad it's likely designed to fail. It has no chance of passing the Senate so it gives the GOP a scapegoat for not being able to come up with a decent plan. "We wanted to fix health care but couldn't because of the democrats". -

Fucker.
And the GOP plan is to tell constituents they tried while really doing nothing. Which is also the Democrat plan.
this is a nothing plan. it just borrows a couple of the good things that Obamacare did and then go backs to the system of 20 million more uninsured and 45,000 dying every year from lack of healthcare.
Deal? -

This alone shows just how retarded and out of touch with reality the dems are. They arent interested in paying for health care. They dont have the money and are too busy getting 100k in debt while getting indoctrinated at a politically correct institution of lower learning so that they can get qualified to flip burgers at McDonalds.salemcoog said:

Holy shit. Yes, we just threw some shit on paper to see what sticks without much thought. Then we are going to print Obamacare 6 times and put it in a stack to make a point.dhdawg said:

The best part about this is the fact that 10% of the bill is dedicated to preventing lottery winners from using Medicaid. Such a huge issue.dhdawg said:
