    If Trevor Highfield were 6-7.

Honestly, I love this kid. I wanted us to offer him last summer and we obviously should've. He has long gorilla arms, he moves well and has quick feet for being a big ugly fucker and he has that natural 'Trey Adams' strength where he can just throw kids. Honestly, a prototypical RT and Straußer—while he cannot recruit his way out of an open paper bag—is a fucking great coach, so I expect this fat fucker to be a beast after McGary leaves.
Have to admit I was down on him but the more film I see and the more I read, I'm starting to think this guy might be a dude.

Still waiting to hear from Straußer on whether he's the best OT in the state of Oregon.

Kirkland is the best senior OT in Oregon.
This guy is really good and I think we're going to get him.

Jaxson's knee movements are very awkward. He needs to seriously strengthen his legs to prevent potential knee injuries in the future IMO. He also needs to improve his balance. The way he moves on the football field puts a lot of pressure on his knee joints - Husky coaches need to fix the way he runs or he will get knee injuries in the future. His upper body strength looks fine, but his legs need some serious work.

He needs 2 years with Socha and company ... while he moves well you can definitely see that he could get a little more knee bend and looks stiff at times through the hips.

That being said, everything Dennis said is spot on ... he should be a beast for us going forward and be a realistic option to slide in for McGary as a RS Soph.

That kid is odd looking too. What is it about Oregon linemen?

Getting Kirkland helped the awful flip of Marlon T and not getting Sarrell. Burleson and Twattenberg will battle it out at LT when Adams leaves but the future at RT was questionable after McGary leaves. Kirkland could be ready to start as a RS-Soph...there's a chance McGary leaves if he has a great year before 2018 though.

I think Adams leaves next year, and McGary stay another year to play LT

Who was the last pac 12 offensive tackle to leave for the NFL after only 3 years in college (no redshirt year)? I honestly don't know, but it doesn't seem like there are a lot of guys on the line going into the NFL at age 21

Yeah, I don't think Adams will leave either because of this too. I think Tyron Smith might have done it at USC, but I'm not sure. Agree with you though, that is one position where you really should stay at lest four years to get your strength up.
