PM to Race and other less important California residents

California secession is fucktarded and will never happen. Regardless of budget or whatever, they are a net donator to the federal government. So they'll do just fine economically.
-
I'd be more worried about local government than state government. These sanctuary cities are going to lose federal funding, and many will spend millions in a losing effort fighting it in court. Cities like San Francisco will turn into Biff's paradise.

The federal funding is a low percentage of their budgets.greenblood said:I'd be more worried about local government than state government. many of the major counties in the country are "sanctuary." as are a number of major states. thinking of defunding them is dreamland. it's like expecting mexico to pay for this stupid wallgreenblood said:I'd be more worried about local government than state government. The PM was to California residents only. I suggest that the rest of you losers butt the fuck out.

That's a pisspoor article if you want to make me worried about California's finances. Again, show me a state that doesn't have some fiscal issues. $1.6B short term deficit? Big fucking deal. That's loose change under Elon Musk's couch cushions.PurpleJ said:
Now, if you'd have made the argument that Cali's tax revenue structure is fucked because of Prop 13 and the resulting low corporate property taxes causing the state to rely on funding sources that fluctuate with and are overly dependent on the state economy, then I might argee. But even with that caveat, we'll be fine, thanks you. If the Great Recession didn't cripple us*, nothing will. -
So when the United States of Trump masses troops on the border of the Republic of California, will it be the SF fags or the lesbians who answer the call of duty?
That undervalued beach house of yours will be a nice recon spot for the Marine landing too.
I'd be worried as fuck if Texas bailed. Those fucks are crazy and would look to expand their borders. And also undefeated in war.

You said surplus. You were wrong.BearsWiin said:

They were projecting a surplus as late as November, which is the last time I recalled seeing anything about it. As I said, I'm not worried about that small a deficit. Cali's economy is doing pretty well, and will continue to do so. Bet against us if you like.PurpleJ said:
