Won't happen. It's better to be inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in.
Newsom and Harris are a big part of the new generation of Democrats who will drag the rest of this backwards ignorant fucking country into the 21st century. Like always, Cali will lead the way. -
Does the leading start before or after you fix your budget and solve your housing crisis?
-
It's not 2010 anymore. Budget is fine. Housing crisis? It's expensive in places, not so much in others. It's a function of local demand, and local govt. desire to build high-density housing in certain areas.PurpleJ said:Does the leading start before or after you fix your budget and solve your housing crisis?

Budget is not fine. Check the facts.
As for housing, well agree to disagree I guess. Average joe can't afford much down there and subsidizing it for low income residents through state and local governments will be quite a burden if you secede. -
Average Joe can live in California just fine.PurpleJ said:Budget is not fine. Check the facts.

You misspelled "Watsonville." The judges also would have accepted "Prunedale." You want to live in a nice area, you have to pay. Shitty areas are affordable, as always. The whole fucking Central Valley is dirt cheap. SF, not so much. Zillow has my hovel undervalued at $930K, but I can hear the ocean from my bedroom and we walked the dogs on the beach this afternoon.
As for the budget, http://www.scpr.org/news/2016/11/17/66216/california-analyst-projects-2-8-billion-budget-sur/
Concerns, yes, but no worser than most other states, and better off than many. -
