Ty Jones visiting UCLA today

UCLA, shit coach, shit program, shit players.
Fuck'em.
Ty Jones, enjoy wallowing in a swamp of shit.
Pete may be too demanding for some of these millenials. Coasting and hanging out may be a little more appealing to some of these guys.
Mora, likely isn't very demanding the "class room." -

The difference is we would KNOW who is not committed in December, if a kid has been committed since summer (like Ty Jones) and then does not sign in December, our staff will know they need to start looking around to see what is out there, because he is not as committed as he says he is.whuggy said:

You hit the nail on the head. The problem with signing these guys early is they get bored watching their friends get to go take visits and be wined and dined. UW is going to have to tweak their process or watch the top talent go elsewhere. And why the hell are they not having an OVs this weekend. Take some shots on big time guys who haven't visited?NEsnake12 said:
The back half of this recruiting cycle has been a train wreck, no other way to put it.tvoie said:How is it possible that UW was closed so incredibly horrible? This is a fucking joke.
We had a ton of elite guys locked in by summer, but the problem with that has become that those elite guys are the flakiest with their commitments. Pete recognized the talent on some of these guys (like Connor and Ty) before other schools and the TBS scene really got onto them, but didn't anticipate that they'd get bombarded later on in the process and flake.
It's almost as if the whole strategy of locking in these caliber of recruits early on and not late in the process is coming back to bite us in the ass. Because for so many months we aren't out there recruiting their position because Pete "respects their spot." If Marlon, Ty, Connor hadn't committed early on then we could've been exploring other options this whole time...
the signing period can actually stretch from
Feb.1 to April 1. Next year when early signing
moves to December the prime recruits can still
stretch it till February. Same drama. Would have
benefitted UW much more if June signing would have
been adopted. -
It will help a bit but still won't matterCokeGreaterThanPepsi said:

for the elite talent who can wait as long
as they want to commit. As always the
solution is to win, so you don't have to worry
about other programs offering jobs to family,
or spending your time going to recruit's birthday
parties. This 2018 class has to be a blockbuster
to continue the momentum. If not it will confirm
we are a player in conference but not the national
stage. -
Holy fucking meltdown. It's recruiting. It happens with kids. Everything will be alright.

Yeah, this is what I was thinking. If you have guys like Marlon and Ty who say they're all UW but then don't sign, you consider their spot open.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:

Anyone who saw Jerry MaGuire 25 years ago knows that word as strong as oak is meaningless. #Kush

worthless. Only thing that matters is when
they sign. You recruit to a spot until the
spots are signed off in December. Save a couple
of spots for home run recruits. -
What in the actual fuck is going on. Really thought making the cfp would help recruiting not make the best commits fucking leave. If jones goes to ucla where Mora hasn't done shit I don't get it. At this point let's bring back tosh to be shady as fuck.
