NFL attendance has been flat since 2008

There to prove my point as always.

Most movies suck these days anyway. I can probably name only a handful that I thought were great in the past few years or so. I probably average about attending 2 movies a year in theatres. I went to a lot more in HS/College but it wasn't to watch the movie, it was for the popcorn surprise.

The reason for blockbuster comic book movies is to get people out of the house for the full special effects. Any regular movie can easily be enjoyed at home and there is no urgency to see it the first weekend.

In defense of Ms. Streep, she did show her tits a lot back in the day. She's been around a long time. She was the ex wife in Kramer v Kramer

And she had a torrid affair with Clint Eastwood in Indiana

With the new technology TV's and the sizes getting larger and larger, while also being affordable, I think going out to a special effects movie, will also be a thing of the past.
So everyone is just going to sit at home on their electronics? Remember how technology was going to reduce NFL attendance?
Are you comparing the experience of a movie theater to a live sporting event?

Those are not even close to being the same thing.

No. I'm not. I'm saying people like to go out and do shit and that won't change. Until we get to a fully electronic society.
