Darnold was an SC lock. Even a pill popping drunk frat boy could have gotten Darnold to SC. Oh wait. Cowherd is a fag.

Exactly what good would that have done. They tried Darnold in the Bama game. He played 3 series in the 3rd quarter and did worse than Browne. Then he finished the last half of the 4th quarter and couldn't do anything against Bama's whole bench of reserves. SC may have improved some with Darnold, but not enough to move on Bama's D. FWIW, Bama's whole bench of reserves is still a top 15 defense, and their non-travel team is still better than half the Pac 12 conference.
