wow, that is a list full of unproven and high risk coaches...it's almost as if Oregon is prepared to throw a ton of money into a lottery ticket and if it doesn't work out, they'll do it again in 2-3 years.

They should have just kept Sling another year.

You would've though Oregon would have a plan before firing him. Recruiting season isn't over and the longer it goes the worse it gets.

It is odd to me they would give Rich Brooks a 17 year plan to lose the Rose Bowl.

But pull the plug on Helfrich who clearly had a 5 year plan to lose the Natty twice.

I like how Helfrich had a better record then 90% of the coaches in that video

Maybe they didn't want the public embarrassment of being rejected by every big name like during their last basketball search.

That ended up working out though. Altman is on another level compared to the rest of the Pac-12 coaching fraternity.

Miller gets Top 5 classes recruiting off of Lute's accomplishments, but he's a pretty mediocre coach.

Laughable. Miller was excellent at Xavier as well and had to rebuild Zona's reputation after O'Neill.

Oh yeah? He had to rebuild from the the interim season of Kevin O'Neill? It must have been so tough since Lute came back at the end of the year and fired him.

Being a stupid fuck in person is fine I suppose. Being a stupid fuck on the internet when google is right there is unacceptable.

Just to add some more stupid fuckery they signed the #11 class in the country will Russ just holding the chair before Miller took over.

This is the big leagues. Go be a stupid fuck somewhere else.

Success at any program, even a major one, is not as easy as it looks. Go ask Illinois about their past few hires. Or UCLA for that matter.

"This is the big leagues". CHRIST

This is what real football schools do. Alabama went through a ton. No isle in keeping them long. And they won't have to pay a ton with that pool.

still a better plan that fireing a coach in the off season and hiring the interim. or a ND flunky as a diversity hire and keeping him on an extra year. Or not doing the basic research and hire a drunk frat boy.
