I love Jake, so I feel bad about dogging him out for folding in key moments...
But this doesn't set up well for our boy. -
Maybe Tedford can comeback for three weeks?
Do you think John Smith will decide to run UW east/west all day? -
If he does, Bama will have this game covered by mid 2nd qtr.jecornel said:Maybe Tedford can comeback for three weeks?

What is Browning's injury? Please fill us in.

What is the deal? -
Sounds like you care.doogie said:

Just know he has a wrist/hand thing that will heal.

You know, this has been a rope a dope, all season.
You heard it here first
He's been throwing short on purpose or feigning injury so when we play Alabama their defensive back field will overcommit and we'll burn them for 3 extra scores and hold on to victory.
Sounds plausible? Thank you. -
Lol @ Jake is injured. Yeah, that's why he shits the bed in meaningful times in every tough situation.
-
He leads the league in +30 yd pass plays all season *except* Colorado when he struggled to throw the ball 30 yards.
sure -
He struggled to throw the ball 30 yards every game. Most teams were just too fucking crappy to be in the neighborhood of Ross or if they have, they've gotten PI penalties because the ball was in the wrong place and they impeded JR's path to it.doogie said:He leads the league in +30 yd pass plays all season *except* Colorado when he struggled to throw the ball 30 yards.

Christ - have you watched the games? -
Browning will have to learn in real quick to throw the ball as far as he can as soon as the ball is hiked to let Ross run underneath it IF there is single coverage. And if he throws deep he will need to learn how to place it so only Ross can make a play on it.
Hard to believe he is hurt when he looked fine against WSU and then against CU he looked like he did against USC. If he was facing a side of a barn throwing a ball at it from 10 yards away he would not be able to hit the broad side of a barn.
There is nothing really to like about this matchup for the offense. However, I am excited to see how the defense will match up.
Maybe KJ Young is a secret weapon? Mcgrew? pull his redshirt? haha.... Carta comes out on the first play.....fake option run, drop back pass hits Fuller for a 60 yard td?

If we like our delusional narrative can we keep it?Dennis_DeYoung said:Lol @ Jake is injured. Yeah, that's why he shits the bed in meaningful times in every tough situation.

If Jake really was hurt, it just makes Smith look that much more fucktarded for throwing as much as he did against a defense giving us 6 yards every fucking carry
-
People forget Browning was clutch vs Arizona in a game i was 100 percent convinced we werre losing going into OT
Then again, Bama -
We're gonna need Browning. Alabama is weaker against the pass. Ole Miss threw for over 400 on them. Florida and their anemic offense even had a little success early through the air.
I ride for Browning. Not letting you guys on the bandwagon. He's going to lead the title charge. -

Browning was definitely off vs colorado. he isn't usually inaccurate under 20 yards, and he was in that game.
We'll need him against bama tho, for sure. The defense has a chance to shut bama down to a degree and force some hurts turnovers. -

Clutch in the way that he inhabited Lavon Coleman's or Dante Pettis' body? I'm not sure I understand which he did. Once I figure that out I can assess correctly.Tequilla said:

The only teams to have beaten a Sabin coached Alabama have had mobile QBs. I'm not baggin' on you fucks, so don't twist.
-
He hasn't been clutch at all. That means he's due. He didn't want to get his nut off too soon. He's been saving it for the playoff.Dennis_DeYoung said:

Even in his worst game ever, if Ross catches a slant right in his hands before half, he probably takes it to the house. And he catches a ball after Rapp's 2nd pick, that hits him in the hands, Jake ends up tied for the Pac 12 all time lead in TDS (I'm discounting Ross' actual TD, that was stupid) guy has been pretty decent this year for a Sophomore, plus he talks shit, and bangs alot of coeds (allegedly). You guys have hated Husky QBS for so long, you've forgotten how to love.
