Wilner gives Sark his due credit for the undefeated Huskies

and then proceeds to fellate Sark for recruiting guys like Conor O'Brien and Troy Williams (from the other team) and opine on the dynasty Sark would be building if he had stayed here.
As a final note, he says UW should be ranked anywhere from #4 to #7.

I like chlamydia more than Jon Wilner.
-
Potatoes O Brien would have been suddenly seniors already if Sark was still here.
-
-
I will assume he gave Walt Harris his props too
-
Wilner will next point out that Rick only won with Lambo's players
-
Wilner must have been beating up by a Husky as a child, because he hates the Husky football team. The only time he has said anything good about the Huskies is when he has too to say somewhat credible.

"Kenny king"
And while he's right that 4 years later that's quite a class, but you have to actually develop them -
When Sark left, only Qualls and Ross were on track to have decent careers. HTH.
He's a fucking feeb if he doesn't understand that pretty much none of those guys would've done shit under Sark. -
Also that half the starters wouldn't have come here in the first place.Dennis_DeYoung said:When Sark left, only Qualls and Ross were on track to have decent careers. HTH.

No KOMO 4 because I'm on my phone but just saw that Wilner has an article out stating "not to take anything away from Chris Petersen and his staff, but..."

What a fucking twat he is.

Does Wilner know about this place? Does he know I want to stomp a mudhole in his ass?
-
Yogi Roth asked Wilner to help build Sark up with what's happening at Washington. Sark is behind that of course.

Are Roth and Wilner butt buddies or something?DerekJohnson said:Yogi Roth asked Wilner to help build Sark up with what's happening at Washington. Sark is behind that of course.

Wilner fellates goats.

At least he realizes Budda is a Petersen recruit. Other than that, he's fucktarded. Most of that class wouldn't be here if Sark was the coach.
-
I get that this bored hates Sark but the man did recruit Sydney Jones and Vita Vea for us after all, let's show some respect.
-
And Budda Baker changed his mind about Oregon and being away from his mom, so he would have signed with Sark too.dnc said:I get that this bored hates Sark but the man did recruit Sydney Jones and Vita Vea for us after all, let's show some respect.

Sark could recruit, but he is a front running loser and could never retain players that didn't excel immediately.dnc said:I get that this bored hates Sark but the man did recruit Sydney Jones and Vita Vea for us after all, let's show some respect.
Basically guys like King (moved from safety), Andrew Hudson (suddenly seniored), Coleman (cement shoes), Brostek (hyped because of leniage), etc. would have been run and never developed.
I can't imagine a more perfect scenario for recruiting then pointing to the Sark leftovers that bought in and excelled.
Pete doesn't fuck around. If you put in the work and believe in what he preaches you will be the most successful version of yourself. It's a clear blueprint, but as Pete loves to say "it's hard".
You either want it or you don't. -
Sark recruited players that liked to be recruited and not the ones who love football. Sure he got a few guys from in state but no matter who is the coach of WA they will get those guys.

Sark's 2013 class was legit. Only because of Petersen though. Players have developed and this year finally developed some consistency under Petersen. That never happened with Sark.
But Ross, Qualls, Victor, Bierria, King, Daniels, String.... I'm sure that class had some kind of fucked up balance, but all these guys are big time players. Only a few probably would have been under Sark. -
King would still be a useless safety and Qualls probably would have quit or be fat as fuck.RoadDawg55 said:Sark's 2013 class was legit. Only because of Petersen though. Players have developed and this year finally developed some consistency under Petersen. That never happened with Sark.

Qualls was destined to be good no matter what. I was shocked Sark actually red shirted him.WilburHooksHands said:

String and Peters were the only guys who left that were legit regardless.
Kikaha was always good. Shelton went from undrafted to first rounder because of Petersen.
Lindquist is probably Petersen's biggest failure in terms of player development. Maybe he's just comfortable and won't put in the work necessary, but he has the tools. -
I'm gonna disagree with you and say that Lindquist just sucks dick. Great kid though, puts the team first. From Mercer Island too.Doogles said:

He seems like a real blue collar lunch pail type, the kinda guy you want to finger your daughter, so you might be right.WilburHooksHands said:

If he can't thrive in this system, he probably can't thrive anywhere. That being said he passes the look test and should be more productive than he is as a 5th year senior. -

I think he's the most productive 5th year senior Elite 11 QB turned 5th string TE in the conference, at least.Doogles said:

Completely disagree with Doogles here. The #1 thing for Petersen is accuracy. Then football IQ. The Swede has neither. Great kid though, a real throwback.

The 2010 class was awesome too. Who can forget the Cascade Front? 2011 was loaded as well. But we saw Sark squander all of that talent in the name of seven win seasons. To think he wouldn't have done the same with the 2013 class is Wilner FS.

Tosh Lupoi on Lindquist possibly being UW's starter in 2014 : "You will be lucky to win four games with him as the starter." He was laughing as he said it because Lindquist has always been so bad.
