How bad would Bama beat UW

How bad would Bama beat UW in a playoff/Bowl game that took place in January?
If UW stayed undefeated I would guess Vegas would start the line and have Bama at about -8. Let the money roll and maybe the spread would get to -10 with the east coast money.
How do all of us doog fans see it? Are we okay hanging with Bama for a half then getting plungered second half for a final score 34-17?
Just wanted some discussion because the Pac12 is a fucking dumpster fire.... UW could go undefeated and the only test they had was a OT Win @ Zona....

I don't think Alabama's offense is very good at all. The defenses in the SEC this year are terrible.. And Jalen Hurts cannot beat with you with arms... You take away his running ability you take away his game.
-
Plus Bama has some FR starting at RT that hasn't looked great.. Actually played with Jake at Folsom
-
A few drives A&M tried to run the ball outside and the Bama D just ate them alive... They are a damn near minor league NFL team on D. It baffles me that their offense is so bland. When in doubt, they run the ball. Then they run some more. I agree with that theory about 90% of the time. Their depth is what kills teams.... It's just seems unlikely UW can hang with them all game.

I think UW has a real chance to keep the game close. I don't think the SEC is really good this year as their best win is probably Bama destroying SC. Otherwise the only significant wins OOC were against UNC, Vtech, TCU (who are not very good) and UCLA (Rosen threw three picks that game and UCLA is not good as well).
Bama does pass the eye test (although I think Michigan is the best team in the country).
That said we match up well with Bama. I don't think their QB can beat us with his arm. Play the run and stack the box. Their coordinator is Kiffen who loves to get creative with his play calling and out-smart himself (as does Sark). Luckily for them Saban loves to run the ball.
That said put eight in the box and I have confidence in our corners playing good coverage on the outside.
I am pretty confident our defense can keep it a low scoring game (I don't think we will move the ball well on offense though) and I think we ultimately lose by around 10. -
Rather easily, say... 34-17?
-
2 touchdowns probably. UW's defense holds it's own but browning shits himself against that defense.
24-10 or something -
Plunger.
-
I don't think it'd be a 52-6 plunger, more like a 42-17 plunger but otherwise case closed.TierbsHsotBoobs said:Plunger.

I don't think it would be that bad right now. Give Saban a month to prepare and it could be a plunger.

It would be a plunger whether the score reflected it or not.
Bama's defense is the best in college football. They have the only defense worthy of the "elite" label that is so casually thrown around, and their special teams unit is outstanding, maybe even elite. Their offense is overshadowed by their defense and special teams, but it's much better than simply serviceable and they have a "slam dunk first ballot" college hall of fame head coach. Any team can lose a game, but these guys are the least likely to do so regardless of who they play.
UW has a very good football team, but is not elite in any phase. Bama beat aTm 33 - 14, I could see them containing the Huskies offense and scoring enough to win rather easily, say 34 -17. -
There are actual odds out right now for potential playoff matchups.

10-14. Comes down to the fourth quarter but not the final drive.

I think Bama would have a real chance to hang with UW for a few quarters.

Boobielips zip thee cunthole. The whole country now knows what a sham the SEC is this year. Perpetuating your fake allegience to this conference just makes you look like more of a dickhead than we already see you as. Fuck off!TierbsHsotBoobs said:Plunger.
Alabama would have 3 losses in the pac, and likely 2-3 in an average big12. Pull your pussylips out your eyeballs and watch a few football games. Your wasting away on the "friends" reruns -
Bama is beating teams with D/ST scoring and thus running up the score. Any team who can hold onto the ball(yes, that's a big ask) will at least hold their own b/c hurts isn't a guy who is going to run up the score IMO. Bama also is bama and should be a heavy favorite against anyone until proven otherwise.
The bullshit above is the lines with michigan or ohio state. Talk about two teams which are fucking overrated or just as untested as UW. Neither of those teams scare me in the least. Teh ville' or clemson are much more of an issue than either of those stupid teams. Christ, ohio state lost to penn state and has a QB who can't throw the ball anymore. -
Define elite. Because the way you are using it makes me think you mean something different from what I would think you mean.Southerndawg said:

I like my DAWGS in that scuffle

10 points. I mean poonts!!!!!11!!! Rofl!!!!1!!!

Bama would spend the game with a 7 to 10 point margin with seeming no concern other than the points they leave on the field due to our tuff red zone defense and the rookie Tide QB getting confused on the short field. Throw in some missed field goals and Bama fan has a nagging sense of unease but UW looks retarded on offense so its in the bag.
Then Browning shows up and Brownsocks is benched and the Huskies outscore Bama 21-0 in the 4th quarter to shock the world and bring home our 4th National Championship -

By definition it means the most choice or select, the best. The term is badly abused by college football fans and pundits. Elite teams are rare. Elite programs even rarer.AIRWOLF said:

Okay. So when you use the term elite, do you mean it on a single season stand-alone basis or all time?Southerndawg said:

Stupid fucking thread title. Our Dawgs throttle Bama 63-3 and Petersen apologizes for the last 4 TDs in the 4th quarter.

My guess (before seeing the early line in this thread) was Bama winning 27-10 or 27-13. If the Huskies actually did play Bama in the semi-finals, it looks like it would be at the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. A comfortable bus ride for the Tide while the Huskies would have a 5 1/2 hour flight.
Bama has better depth too. -
I'm going full doog. Why not?
Our D will be faster than anything they've ever seen, and holds them to 10 points and gets 2 interceptions.
Our O will be faster than anything they've ever seen, and hangs 35 on them.
Pete smirks while he says "shucks, I'm just proud of our players and coaches".

Does Bama do any better an a road game at Utah? Maybe...maybe not
