Brownsocks is still a legitimate name for him because he has blown it in quite a few big games. Spare the context about true freshman, blah, blah. Brownsocks is funny and an example of what this site does and is about.
That said, he's a good QB and the best since Marquis. He's smart, he cares, I guarantee he works the hardest, and is mostly accurate. If we fucking run the ball like we have been, he will do well. -

Good players that want to become great players acknowledge their errors, and Jake clearly under threw a couple wide-open receivers. They had to wait for the ball, and were lucky to get PI's because Stanford's db didn't look back for the ball.
He knows it, and if he releases those balls a little earlier and with a little less arc, his game would have been about perfect.
It was a great game - but there's no need to be a whiny bitch about pointing out flaws. Are you going to call Petersen an idiot when he says the same fucking thing when they go over the film?

Browning needs to let go of the ball when Ross III is +5 yds past the line and trust he and the ball will arrive at +30yds past the line at the same time.
