Winners win
Pats about to hit 3-0 with a 3rd string QB. I like our chances this year.

give $72 million contract to QB who was benched for the burnt husk of peyton manning
don't let him throw on 3rd and 8 in the first quarter of a game against a 3rd string rookie QB -
It just proves that, like Green Bay, NE has a system that almost any QB can succeed in.

The GOAT just game planned the hell out of this game. This had very little to do with NE's system and everything to do with NE's coaches willingness to abandon their system to work with that they have. -
My point is that if Brissett had to come in as 3rd string QB for any other team in the league, he wouldn't have played as well. I'm not saying he did play well, but well enough to succeed in winning the game. Am I changing my argument a bit? Sure. But, that's how you win in this day and age.

Not anymore. Maybe from 2008-2014. But not anymore.Fenderbender123 said:It just proves that, like Green Bay, NE has a system that almost any QB can succeed in.

None of this means almost any QB could succeed there. It means NE is damn good at scouting and incredibly good at developing, but historically good at game planning.Fenderbender123 said:My point is that if Brissett had to come in as 3rd string QB for any other team in the league, he wouldn't have played as well. Their coaching might be better than anyone's in any sport. -
