Christ. These guys have yet to play a game and now they're the deepest secondary in program history? How about we see how they play over the course of an entire season before engaging the hyperbole button.

The secondary has played several games and they're pretty fucking good. If Peterman and his offensive staff had a clue, a real QB and a 7-11 receiving core, this team might win some games.

I don't disagree, but they need to step up and shut down top competition before statements like "deepest in program history" get tossed about.

By the way, I'm cautiously optimistic that this team will make some noise, but the offseason hype has been off the hook. SI has them ranked 7? WTF. They've yet to prove they're top 25 let alone top 10. LIFPO, and keep the hype in check until six or seven games into the season. We'll know a lot more by then.

Arizona Road Rapes draw much bigger crowds, but most involve roofies, special K and GHB. Star Wars might edge out in actual viewings.

    THIS.

We are going to lose at Arizona you moronZ. We? will throw a pick-six and turn it over twice in our own territory and they will win like 23-16 after each team kicks 4 FGs.

Do you guys really think Smith is calling the plays this year?

Are you suggesting Pete is taking over play calling duties?

Or is Browning cerebral enough to run the show from the huddle. He's like another coach on the field already.

My bud @Tequilla hinted at this same bullshit. Is Petersen calling the plays now? Is Jeff fucking Tedford? It's all supposition until proven otherwise. If such a power play went down, why retain Smith at all?
