When Draymond Green is on your team you just have to take a ball shot.

At any point is anyone going to do something about this Golden State court? I've never seen so many players slip. This game, OKC series, someone's going to blow out a knee.

People forget that Lebron gets to beat up the East all year... Every year.

We got this.

Good gameplan by the Cavs. Nothing you can do when the opposing teams role players shoot 90%.
Also I'm hearing the 72 win Bulls could never shut down Curry and Thompson, even though the 57 win Cleveland Cavaliers just did. -

When your rookie head coach who was never more than a role player 'schemes' to shut down two players, he gets schooled by a head coach who won multiple championships as both a player and a coach.allpurpleallgold said:Good gameplan by the Cavs. Nothing you can do when the opposing teams role players shoot 90%.

But the Cavs didn't have Kyrie or Love and still took 2 games!!

Everyone is talking about the difference between Blatt and Lue.

Can't speak for anyone else, but my claim is the 96 Bulls could not shut them down for the course of a 7 game series. For a game or 2? Sure, shooters have off nights, that's the nature of shooters. Memphis shut them down for a couple games last year too. Cleveland did to start the series last year as well. Klay's more inconsistent, but Steph always adjusts and finds his rhythm. He'll go off in this series too. Even though he might not need to.allpurpleallgold said:Good gameplan by the Cavs. Nothing you can do when the opposing teams role players shoot 90%.

I love new NBA fans that think the Warriors invented spacing.PurpleThrobber said:

Livingston and Barbosa threw up a bunch of contested shots that went in with Curry and/or Thompson on the bench. Congrats on watching your first NBA game. -

A lot of those were pretty good looks too, but no doubt they played above their heads. But GS still shot below 50% for the game (barely, but still) and 33% from three point range. Livingston won't score 20 again but Curry won't be held to 11 again. It evens out.allpurpleallgold said:

The bigger issue for Cleveland was only hitting 38% of their own shots. When you outscore the home team by 9 points at the line and match GS exactly on threes and 3 point percentage, you should win. But not when you can't make a shot.
How much of that is Cleveland having an off night after the long break and how much was GS' defense is hard to say. Game 2 will tell us a lot. -

Yes, 11.5 months off is a long break.dnc said:

As an alleged Grizzlies fan you should know that series flipped when Golden State stopped guarding Tony Allen so Memphis couldn't play him. Not because you can't possibly ever stop them for a full series.dnc said:

Seriously, you're saying the 2015 Memphis Grizzlies did it twice so that's the max, no one could ever be better than them. Nearly as stupid as saying some fucking rando Blazers player couldn't guard Steph therefore no one ever could. -
