My cousin played for the UW lacrosse team. Almost got his neck broken by a dirty cross check from an Oregon player (*just* a broken scapula). Spent nearly 3 weeks in the hospital.GrundleStiltzkin said:Disagree. All in on lacrosse, bitches.

It's just a total cop out move by UW and why it's hard to figure out where the leadership comes from at the University ... the leadership comes not from the top going downward but instead the top basically views their role as giving resources and getting out of the way and relying on people underneath them to get shit done. Problem with that attitude is at what point does accountability hold? When you have people like Pete leading the program, the direction is clear. When you have drunk frat boys like Sark or a shell of a coach like Romar the excuses flow like the shots on a SoCal expense report.
And as for UW baseball, let's be clear, my lack of expectation is on holding a coach responsible for saying Omaha or bust. Getting to the NCAA Tournament in baseball is probably a little more difficult than some of you realize. -
