Im hearing it was because he went 4-8, 4-8, 7-6 his 1st 3 years. Should have fired him after year 3

Im sure Cowhen will make this kind of thing her #1 priority in the wake of Baylor. . The football team will have to take immediate sensitivity training, proper behavior around women training, womens' studies, womans suffrage, afro-american womens' studies, sexual behavior training, and worst of all she'll force the football team to attend girls soccer games. Women will bring college football to its knees, Cowhen is the first chink in its armor.

So lets see, Briles went 4-8, 4-8, 7-6...then 10-2 his 4th year then 8-5 his 5th. By most of your butthuffing logic he would have been fired after year 3. Certainly after his 8-5 finish in year 5.
Then 11-2, 11-2 , 10-3 and certainly would have won 10 or more this year and every year as the big12 stinks. Precisely why a coach needs 5 years to build a program.
