Agree that Peterman is here unless he flames out. Which he won't. The jury is out, but he isn't a terrible coach. I'm just not sure he's a really good one either.

The tournament only takes 68 teams. There are over 300 D-1 basketball teams.

In football, it's something like 80 teams out of 120 make a bowl. Missing a bowl in football is way, way worse than missing the NCAA tournament. It's like a hoops team not even being invited to the CBI or whatever the fuck the tournament underneath the NIT is called.

Missing a bowl in today's college football means your program is a fucking disaster. Romar's basketball program is also a disaster, but still.
