sounds like Scott Walker has that law thingy dialed in
-
I've noticed that unions get away with a lot of unconstitutional shit.

Unions will be the death of this fucking country.
They already killed Detroit once. -
I'm a huge proponent of collective bargaining, but they overstep their bounds far too often. It's sad because I like the idea behind unions. If people have the right to assemble, they also have the right to refuse.

Unions were created because corporations overstepped their bounds.PurpleJ said:I'm a huge proponent of collective bargaining, but they overstep their bounds far too often. It's sad because I like the idea behind unions. If people have the right to assemble, they also have the right to refuse.

Corporations are people my friend.

Unions and collective bargaining: middle class
There are other factors, but unions were a large one. Now that they've been decimated, the middle class is very weak in this country.
Right to work states are usually backwards ones with a lot of ignorant white trash (basically sec cuntry) or rural western states. They also often times take in more funds from the federal gubment they claim to despise than they pay in. -
On one hand, fuck Scott Walker. On the other hand, the notion of non-union employees having to pay dues is ridiculous. I'm conflicted.

25 states is a lot. It's almost as if they have a valid point.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:Unions and collective bargaining: middle class

Unions are weaker now than they've ever been. I don't see how a dying institution is going to ruin our country.topdawgnc said:Unions will be the death of this fucking country.

How many of those states are successful and produce more than they receive?PurpleJ said:

Yes. And in a Union you are supposed to have a say in how they spend your dues. You also have the right not to join one. This is America fren. Nothing is supposed to happen without the consent of the people.doogsinparadise said:Unions are America my friend.

I'm not the one arguing against individual rights.

As a casual Madden player, I couldn't help but notice the coach of the Patriots is a skinny revenge of the nerds around here with glasses. I wondered why Belichik was the only coach not in the game. Apparently he's the only coach not to join the coaches' union.
I want to hate Belichik because I can't stand the Patriots but that guy is the fucking man. He plays games with the media, calls out the league's bullshit, lists Brady as questionable every single week, does press conferences with less vigor than my grandpa on his death bed and basically gives the bird to every 'norm' and expectation laid upon him as a coach. Because he fucking can. I love it. Everyone joins the union like a good lemming and BB says what am I getting out of it? With no regard for whether he upsets the apple cart. And he fucking wins so people can't say shit.
