I think I can understand the whole social media mentions thing but wtf are voting points? Was their methodology listed anywhere? I look at average home attendance at 2015 and see UW at 59,485 and WSU at 29,407 and think this methodology is flawed (the whole people gawking at the coogs unusual success on twatter aside). Obviously if Clarence D. Martin Stadium was at capacity it would be a different story but it isn't.
I also found their social heat maps interesting where they show every team with 0 tweets. As best I can tell you get on the list by tweeting about #FanIndex which basically shows that USA is after a more blatant money grab than DJ. But I know that surprises nobody. -

Wazzu has the best fans. They were able to literally erase the fact that they won 3 games and were demolished by UW with *with* Falk from their collective memories.

Social media is a pretty lazy way to measure...and I'm too lazy to figure out the rest of their methodology.
How many people over 40 or 45 Tweet or post a lot of Facebook updates? My brother is 51 and he never posts anything. It makes sense that the _ucks almost led social media. Tons of their "fans" are bandwagon teens and Millenials who use social media more often and post way more updates. -
I don't think Cooger fans loving a loser more than Husky fans do is anything to be embarrassed about.
UW and WSU have been a fucking disgrace recently. UW fans think it's bullshit, WSU fans still think they're awesome. I'm OK with that.
You want a good fan rating? Then win some fucking games. -
