Around 1991 or so, the womyn's basketball team started to outdraw the "men's." I believe Barbara Hedges Butch replaced a real athletic director the same year. At a fairly young age, that told me all I needed to know.

Being in my late thirties I feel as though I got in while the getting was still good. The excitement of three straight Rose Bowls and watching them with my real dad, before the cancer, are some of my favorite memories. After his passing a few months after the '93 game my mom let my other two dads move in and the Lambo years began. Chandler, Conklin, Brunell and Hobert set my expectations for life and led to my future and current disappointment in this program. I remember the good times and have been castrated by the results of the program for the entirety of my adult life. 2000 Rose aside.
