But true conservatism would have you evangelize from the church and keep the government out of social issues and let public policy be based on the greater good. If you're against abortion don't get one and help women find another alternative. Stop wasting time trying to outlaw it. Back alley abortions are not good public policy

I'm a pro-life libertarian and I agree with this message. I'm constantly arguing with people about this. I think drugs should be legalized, along with prostitution, sports gambling, etc. Think about it for a second...we can't bet on a sports game which a well-informed bettor can win 55-60% of his bets, yet mentally ill/borderline mentally ill can flush thousands a year down the drain in the gubermint's lottery they have less chance of winning than if every American's name was put in a fucking hat. I don't necessarily like that abortion is legal but as a libertarian I have to take my medicine and realize it should be left up to the states and dealt with on a local level.
