During the 2014 to 2015 school year alone, the study found that 10.3 percent of female undergraduates had been the victim of a sexual assault, which they defined as rape or sexual violence. The BJS surveyed 23,000 students from nine different universities for the comprehensive report — 15,000 female and 8,000 male.
Reality is, there are a lot of sick fucks in this world.

People are sick in every culture, but the culture that these people come from are significantly more misogynistic, it's just a fact. Not to mention Sharia law, which the majority in many of those countries favor, basically makes it impossible to prove rape. And we're not even talking about honor violence... -
I don't know how you solve the rape on college campuses issue though. Better support systems? Harsher sentences for people that are convicted? (I don't think the low conviction rate is a solvable issue).
