    I tend to agree with the ActualDuck here mostly. There wasn't much else to do in that incident. What bothers me are the circumstances that allowed the Iranians to have a propaganda victory releasing those pictures, and that they were comfortable in doing so.

    No, we roll over. Without protest, we let the Iranians point guns at our guys so the religion of peace gets a propaganda photo op, we apologize to them for peacefully drifting into their waters, and all the while we cut them a check for $150B to help finance their operations. That's what we do in 2016.

    No US Military ship would EVER be compromised in a battle tense corridor... Left to defend themselves Benghazi style... Unless our Commander In Chief ordered it.
