    I'm guessing that they didn't want to rock the boat too much with all the other old ass coaches that have been there since before football was invented who are probably buddies with Pellum. Continuity of staff has been huge for Oregon. Pellum is also supposedly a great recruiter due to his ethnicity and attire.
