Yes! But if you just go by stats and the conferences they played in, Browning is certainly not worse than Rypien. Rypien had some really bad games in loses to Air Force, New Mexico, and Utah State. It looks like he played well against Hawaii (3-10), San Jose (5-7), Colorado State (7-5), Wyoming (2-10), and Virginia (4-8).
