my tickets are behind the husky bench, after every series Browning talks to Hamdan before ever getting on the phone to talk with Smith. Probably a reason why he also got promoted to 'passing game coordinator'

Lake moving up is interesting, not sure if that is so they can pay him more or if that is designed for succession planning.
Hamdan has some big time experience at Florida, but it was only one year. Was hoping for a bit more of a splash there. -
Ensuring that Lake stayed in the program was a priority. The only worry that you have with this kind of move would be what K thinks about it ... but I'd be shocked if this wasn't done with him being aware of it up front ... and you never know if it was designed by Pete or K.
As for Hamden, while on one hand you'd like to get a more named hire, everything I'm hearing suggests that he has a chance to be a bright star when it comes to the coaching world. Probably a better hire than many would want to admit. -
I was surprised when he came on board in the QC role. Figured maybe he just wanted to work under CP really badly.
But maybe he was promised a promotion after one year toiling away in QC? -
