I like Gaines ... but he wasn't even starting at times this year. Qualls is just as impactful. But that also speaks to the quality of the defense.
Budda is also great ... but how much of the season did he actually play?
I have a feeling that Bierria, Victor, and King are having laughs at not being able to get more than honorable mention.
I thought that what I heard about Banner was that he was too big and slow ... yet first team? Never seemed that impressive when I watched him play this year.
But then again, how was the conference really average this year? -
