If Smith had an unfortunate accident that prevented him from coaching -- who would we want as OC?

I'm not saying I'm planning any sort of clandestine incident, so don't go twisting... but if he were to suddenly be unavailable as the coach -- who should Pete go after?

Is this a roundabout way of asking "who can we hire better"?
Beau Baldwin seems to know what he's doing. Could probably get him with a raise and the opportunity to take an offense from worst in the Pac12 to the top tier.
It's a beautiful situation to be in. All the core members will be underclassmen: the line, the rb, the Qb. The only thing that sucks is WR and you have a stud on your current roster looking to transfer.
Bring him with you, take the money, and parlay the hype of taking a unit from worst to first into an FBS job.
You even have a soft schedule to fine tune before conference play and DEATH ROW to lean on during growing pains. -
Who started that rumor? Bleenor? Kupp ain't coming to UW. He's projected at around #22 wide receiver in this year's draft and would probably move up to #14 or #15 WR next year if he stayed in school. Not significant for the risk of injury.
His younger brother is also at EWU and that's the only reason he'd come back to college next year - to play with him.
But Baldwin to UW as OC makes loads of sense. -
The field vs Smiff wins everytime.

Its not a rumor. There is credible info that he's considering it (transfer to UW) but we cant divulge. Maybe in chat (faggotty wink wink)PurpleThrobber said:Who started that rumor? Bleenor? That being said, he likely goes to the NFL. -

Has anyone mentioned Beau Baldwin as a replacement for Smith?
He is known for being creative and runs a high powered offense.
Could be a good fit?
